Service Technicians are required for all Toyota Material Handling Dealerships at various locations, Australia wide. The role is to carry out service and maintenance of the Toyota Material Handling product range in a professional manner, in accordance with company policies and the relevant Australian Standards. This position reports to the Service Manager.
Key aspects of the role include: - * Carry out service and repair work in a professional and responsible manner. * Make clear and accurate entries on Jobsheets and Repair Orders to record the hours of labour and the parts consumed. * Submit Jobsheets and Repair Orders in accordance with company deadlines. * Return Service Exchange items to Spare Parts. * Ensure environmental policies of the company are adhered to and that environmentally sensitive products i.e. waste oil, filters, batteries etc. are returned to workshop for correct disposal. * Ensure that any defect or potential defect with machinery under evaluation or servicing is reported via company documentation. * Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of service vans. * Wear company supplied clothing and ensure it is clean and presentable; * Maintain a pleasant and considerate manner with clients. * Participate in training programs to raise knowledge of product, procedures, statutory responsibilities, licensing requirements.
Relevant trade qualifications are required with specific experience with battery electric forklift products.
Above award wages, uniforms, great conditions and a fully equipped service vehicle is provide when performing the duties of a field service technician.
