Raymond sideloaders excel at handling a variety of load types — bar stock, tubing, laminates, or plywood sheets — and can be used for order picking. They are more useful and versatile than overhead fixed cranes or conventional trucks used in bulk storage systems.

SAFETY

• * The design of the operator’s compartment provides excellent visibility. A cushioned floor mat absorbs vibration to reduce operator fatigue. And the Raymond sideloader’s single axis-handle control handle directs speed, direction, crab steering, and horn for ease of operation.

PRODUCTIVITY

• * Raymond sideloaders are available with rail guidance or the intelliguide® wire guidance system. Guidance relieves the operator of steering duties in narrow aisles improve pick rate performance by allowing operators to fully focus on selecting the next load.  Both rail and wire guidance are affordable to install and reduce operating costs by helping to prevent damage to product, racks, and vehicle.

PERFORMANCE

• * By moving long, bulky materials in very narrow aisles and providing high stacking capability, Raymond sideloaders deliver greater space utilization. And they can cut the costs of handling and storing cumbersome loads.  Raymond sideloaders easily lift to 9144mm with loads as long as 7925mm.
  * Superior maneuverability is the result of power steering and the ability to turn each set of wheels independently. They move easily in tightly confined areas. Raymond sideloaders also maneuver close to rack faces, inter-face with over-the-road flatbed trucks, and within production work cells or clusters.
  * Raymond’s exclusive mast and carriage tilt — plus variable lift and lower speeds — provide maximum load control.   The rugged design is available in two and three-stage mast configurations with collapsed heights as low as 2464mm.

EASE OF USE

• * To automatically position the fork height to store and retrieve loads, Raymond offers the Ranger® shelf height selector option. The Ranger selector features a proven microprocessor for simple, reliable design, easily calibrated to fit your operation.
  For roll or coil stock handling, our Hydraulic Fork Adjustment option allows you to easily adjust the width from 381mm to 1168mm to make roll pick-up a quick and easy operation.
