Legends unite: Toyota Material Handling teams up with Australian TV royalty for spring racing carnival

Australian television legend Kerri-Anne Kennerley has been unveiled as the official ambassador for Toyota Material Handling Australia’s partnership with the Australian Turf Club.

The TV icon will work with TMHA to promote its sponsorship of Sydney’s Spring racing carnival including hosting an exclusive event at Royal Randwick on TAB Everest Day –Sydney’s showpiece sport and entertainment experience and the world’s richest race on turf.

TMHA President Steve Takacs said that he was delighted to have someone of Kennerley’s calibre on board.

“Toyota Forklifts is a legendary brand and Kerri-Anne Kennerley is an Australian legend, so in the first year of our partnership with the Australian Turf Club, I couldn’t be happier that Kerri-Anne has agreed to be our ambassador”

“Aside from being a household name, Kerri-Anne has strong links with racing in Sydney and will no doubt help us lift our partnership with the ATC, and with racing, to the next level”

Kennerley will promote Toyota Forklifts role as a major partner of the ATC and will be on hand to welcome guests to an exclusive event on TAB Everest Day.

Kerri-Anne said she was excited to be working with the TMHA team on one of Sydney’s premier events.

“I’ve enjoyed working with the TMHA team in the past and I love the glamour of Sydney’s spring racing carnival so it’s a great fit for me”

“The TAB Everest Day has grown to become one of those ‘must attend’ events and from what I’ve seen of the plans it’s going to be a fabulous day”

Kennerley will also work with TMHA to spread sun safety awareness during the spring racing carnival as part of a recently announced partnership between TMHA and Melanoma Institute Australia.

“I’m particularly looking forward to using this opportunity to help TMHA promote their partnership with Melanoma Institute Australia”

“As the weather warms up and people spend more time at outdoor events, we’ll have some positive messages to spread around sun safety and we’ll launch a major fundraising initiative at The Everest”

“I’m also working with my milliner to design a custom sun-safe hat for the day so keep an eye out for more on that!”
